July 15, 2012 at First Lipa MBC, Lipa City, a revival was held with the theme, Faithfulness in Times of Trials. There are so many problems that we undergo, whether a test of faith or correction, but God is always faithful and we need to remain faithful. The message was given by Pastor Edwin Jardinel, and it was attended by members of First Lipa MBC and some from Cavite Landmark MBC. There were many commitments during the invitation.
Months have passed and grasses have grown, but the church building remained to be the same. May we have more hearts to pray for the need. We need men like Nehemiah who have a great compassion for the Lord's work and His people. "And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:"(Neh 1:3-5) We need to pray as God commanded us to pray, that the project will be completed and that this church and seminary will be an answer to the prayers of dedicated men and women that more labourers will be sent in the Lord's vineyard. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. There were many professions of faith and some of them are attending service in Cavite Landmark MBC already. Missionary Edwin Jardinel as shown is teaching about Salvation. Brother Rodney Panganiban, has been helping and also teaching in 3 factories in this compound. Pose after the Bible Study inside a factoryMen's Fellowship and Women's Fellowship were joined together at Wellborne, in Carmona Cavite last June 30, 2012. It is a fellowship attended by Cavite Landmark MBC, First Lipa MBC and Trece Martirez ministry. The Theme was "Attitude for Success" with Speaker Missionary Pastor Edwin Jardinel. Lecturers were Brother Elbert Flores, Brother Jonathan, etc. In the Afternoon after the lecture, the men played Basketball and the Women, football. They all enjoyed the activity. May 9, 2012, we went to Malabon City to get a birth certificate, but for Brother Rodney, it was an opportunity for evangelism and training with his pastor and mentor. He is a student of our Bible School and a church worker. While going to the Manila Railway Transit Station by bus, he preached about salvation. A nun's companion extended an offering of money about P20 Pesos, but Rodney didn't accept it because it might bring a misinterpretation of his motive as there are many Pentecostals who preaches in the busses and are begging money. As we moved to the Light Train MRT, brother Rodney preached again about salvation aggressively. Then we transferred to another Light Train in Taft Avenue, and he preached for the third time. Upon reaching Caloocan, we walked for a while and then boarded a jeep, and he preached to the few passengers. When we went back, it was more opportunities of preachings so that he was able to preach 8 times to busses and trains and 2 personal talk about God on some persons. The last preaching was at the bus going back from Ayala to Global City, Taguig..Brother Rodney was thankful about suggestions which he found more effective in evangelism. Thank God for the victory that day!!! Saturday, about 1 am, Brother Dennis Leynes, member of First Lipa MBC died. It saddened the whole church for the loss of a faithful man, and almost everyone shed a tear, but then there was comfort knowing that Brother Dennis is with the Lord. Many brethren of Lipa gave a testimony about the life of Brother Dennis, for his humility, always willing to serve the Lord and to help the ministry. He preaches and teaches in the Sunday School. His death was so sudden. There was no sign of sickness. He was just sleeping and at the middle of the night, he could hardly breath. He died while his wife was struggling to wake him up as he seemed to be half conscious, until he gave up. His wife Sister Nerisa is a house wife, and they have two small kids. Sister Nerisa was so brave to face life, being alone to take the responsibility of her children. It is because she has faith in God. We were able to preach the gospel on Sunday evening, Tuesday Evening, and two times on Wednesday afternoon. During the burial, there were so many people who heard the gospel. Preachers were Missionary Edwin Jardinel and Brother Elbert Flores. |
